3 Reasons to be Passionate About Reading the Bible Every Day

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,” (2 Timothy 3:16, ESV).

As Christians, we are called to follow Jesus with our whole heart. When we follow Jesus, He fills us with a desire to read His Word, the Bible. The Bible is where we learn about God, and it’s essential for Christians to read it every day. Here are three reasons you should be passionate about reading the Bible every day.

1. The Bible is God’s word, and it is truth.

As Christians, we are called to follow Jesus and His teaching. The only way we can do that is by reading the Bible and understanding what it says. The Bible is how God speaks to us, and it is our guide for living our lives according to His will.

2. The Bible is living and active.

The Bible is not just a history book or a book of rules. It is a living document that speaks to us in our current situation. Whenever we open the pages of Scripture, God speaks to us through His Word.

3. The Bible changes us.

When we read the Bible, God uses it to change us into the people He wants us to be. As we spend time in God’s Word, our hearts and minds renew, and God gives us the wisdom and strength we need to live for Him each day.

If you want to grow in your faith and have a closer relationship with God, then you need to make spending time in His Word a priority. Reading the Bible every day will help you understand God’s will for your life and give you the strength you need to follow Him with all your heart. Don’t wait any longer. Grab your Bible and start reading!
